1. Type thereport on one side of the answer sheets only, Times New Roman, font size 12, and double-spaced on A4 paper.
3. Plagiarism, copying and cheating will NOT be awarded any mark, and disciplinary actions will be taken instead.
4. The reportshould be submitted on or before 23 October
5. You are encouraged to discuss about your topic for the studywith your lecturer. The final report contributes20% of the course grade.
6. This assignment can be done in a group of not more than THREE (3) students.
TASKS In your group of 3 members your are required to write a report based on a study of anissue which isencountered/experienced by UMP students. Task 1 Conduct a questionnaire survey with at least 50-60 students (students from various faculties or your very own course mates) regarding and issue/ problems facedby ump students.
Task 2 Write a 2,500-3,000 word research research report, excluding abstract, bibliography, illustrations and appendixes.The format of your assignment should include the following components: a. Introduction You should state your thesis statement and explain what will follow in the rest of the paper. b. Literature review
Read from a variety of sources of information such as books, journals, newspapers and internet sources. c. Research method Explain briefly the research method you used to obtain your information such as interviews or questionnaire. d. Discussion of the issue
This is supported by your survey findings e. Conclusion & Recommendations
Here you summarize your research and propose suggestions for the topic. f. Bibliography
Include references in APA style and ensure that the references are from reliable sources such as books and journals
